Our Services » Smoke Alarms Anual Service Program
You or your Landlords will never again have to worry about the expense of replacing smoke alarms.
All smoke alarms have an expiry date (including 240v smoke alarms) and many smoke alarms do not even last their lifespan as they develop faults. When they need replacing this can be very expensive with replacement costs for 240v smoke alarms ranging from $100 - $200 per alarm.
Our $90.00 Annual Service Plan is an outstanding value for Property Managers and Landlords.
$90.00 per annum per property, regardless of how many times we are asked to attend the property during the year and regardless of how many smoke alarms are in the property. We provide a detailed Inspection and Compliance Report. We also attend the property minimum yearly, and return to the property during the year whenever there is a tenancy change or tenancy renewal - at no additional cost, regardless of how many times you ask us to return to the property.
Replacement smoke alarm pricing if required:
$25 each Photoelectric 9V battery
$50 each Photoelectric 240V with 9V battery backup
Under our Annual Maintenance Program, our trained technicians will perform the following services on each visit:
* A property survey to determine the quantity, type and location of smoke alarms already installed.
* An inspection of each smoke alarm for correct and secure fitting
* Clean all smoke alarms with anti-static wipe
* Replace batteries in all alarms with removable batteries.
* Verification of expiry dates on all alarms.
* Check all alarms for audible notification.
* Check all alarms for visual indicators.
* Verify that alarms meet current Australian Standards.
* Replace any alarms that are faulty or expired.
* Relocate any existing alarms to make the property compliant.
* Record all details in our database.
